Our colleague Carmen Esther Falcón Pérez, Co-Director of the Tides UNESCO Chair, participated as a keynote speaker in the inaugural session of the Seventh International Congress on Desert Economy. The event was organized by the National School of Business and Management and held in Dakhla on April 15 and 16, 2026, under the theme: “Territorial Justice and Development in Remote Regions of the World: Arid Zones, Mountainous Zones, and Oases.”
