The project aims at modernizing the higher education system in Uzbekistan by boosting the cooperation of the key actors of the Knowledge Triangle (Universities, Business sector and local authorities) for the establishment of long-term partnerships. The project focuses on the establishment of Regional Knowledge Platforms as institutionalized and operational framework for all actors and brings together 13 partners of which 6 Universities (3 from UZ and 3 from EU), one Technology Park, 5 Companies and business support organisations (4 from UZ and 1 from EU) and one representative of a national public authority – The Committee for the coordination of science and technology development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Consulta Europa brings its experience in supporting universities in the design of their knowledge transfer strategies and in the development of international research and innovation projects.
