Carmelo J. León González, researcher at the TiDES Institute and Director of the UNESCO Chair in Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, presented on September 30, on the island of La Palma, the INNO International Seminar -RESET TOURISM, Innovation and Resilience in Special Interest Tourism, which will take place in person in the municipality of Los Llanos de Aridane, on Friday, October 14, at 9:30 a.m., at the Caños de Fuego Interpretation Center. The seminar, in addition to face-to-face, will be broadcast via video streaming. The Seminar is co-organized by the University of La Laguna, through the Caja Canarias – Ashotel Tourism Chair, and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, through the UNESCO Chair in Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development. The grassroots organization on the island is carried out by the Tourism Council of the Island Council and the Isla Bonita Rural Tourism Association within the framework of the ASTROFEST program.
