EDUCATION AND FORMATION

Education and training are key to achieving sustainable tourism development goals, which is why this UNESCO Chair organizes and supports a wide variety of advanced programs and courses.

We collaborate with other academic and government institutions to transfer the latest results and knowledge generated by tourism research.

UNESCO Chairs and Universities Network for Latin America on Tourism and Peace (RED/TUPAZ)

Tourism can be much more than an economic activity — it is a path toward understanding, sustainability, and peace. Through the TUPAZ Network, we promote a model of responsible tourism that connects universities, communities, and territories committed to a more just and equitable future.

We are an international academic alliance that fosters research, cooperation, and education around tourism as a tool for social transformation. We believe that every travel experience can become an opportunity to build coexistence, respect, and human development.
